woah, das nenne ich nibelungen-treue. nachdem ich nach "suffer" und "no control" bei "against the grain" irgendwie keinen millimeter bewegung vom bewährten konzept erkennen konnte, habe ich aufgegeben, die weiter zu verfolgen.

Ich glaube auch, daß kein Mensch (aus genanntem Grunde) mehr als zwei Bad Religion-Alben braucht. Aber es hat sich was angesammelt im Laufe der Jahre. Jede Scheibe hat 2 oder 3 Hits - jetzt hab ich sie als geballte Ladung.

Naja, was ist denn die Definition von HipHip?
Außerdem steht ja "Rap / HipHip" drüber.

ich werde jetzt nicht den fehler begehen und eine definition liefern. dazu ist es mir auch zu unwichtig (und engstirnig), aber betty boo, faithless, dr. alban et al. als rap & hip hop einzuordnen, weil zwischendurch mal ein bisschen gerappt wird, finde ich schon gewagt.

Sowohl Betty Boo als auch Maxi Jazz von Faithless waren / sind schon sehr eindeutig Rapper, Dr. Alban mit Abstrichen. Die Musikstile sind natürlich sehr unterschiedlich, den Sound von Betty Boo hat man seinerzeit als "Hip House" bezeichnet. Faithless decken von jeher eine ziemliche Bandbreite ab, darunter durchaus auch HipHop (zumindest geht das schon stark in diese Richtung). Und bei denen höre ich mir sogar die Texte an.

bei "uns" nennt man das wohl (brrr) Rap-Einlage, dies gehörte bei Dance Music Acts wie C&C Music Factory zum guten Ton, aber im Grunde hab ich da keine oder nur wenig Ahnung.
