Bat For Lashes - The Dream Of Delphi (2024) Offensichtlich ist das Album eine einzige Liebeserklärung an ihre neugeborene Tochter, die dem Album auch den Titel gegeben hat. Aus praktisch jedem Ton strömen die Glücksgefühle, die sie als junge Mutter wohl empfindet. Mich als Hörer kann das allerdings nicht drüber hinwegtäuschen, dass es dem Album an etwas entscheidendem fehlt: Songs. Bei den meisten Tracks handelt es sich nämlich um weitehgend text- und beatfreie, ätherische Instrumentals, die zum Teil auch noch recht kurz geraten sind. Entsprechend kommt das Album (ohne Bonustrack) auch auf gerade mal eine halbe Stunde. Schön anzuhören ist das aber in jedem Fall.

Geht auf jeden Fall stark Richtung Ambient. Ich find's super!
